Our Mission:

Rescue dogs.

Our primary missions involve rescuing street dogs in Chile and Mexico with the help of our Chilean and Mexican teams. We provide food, shelter and the veterinary care that they desperately need. Once they are healthy and ready to be adopted, we travel with them to Vancouver, Canada to unite them with their forever homes.

We also assist with BC adoptions to the best of our abilities. While we do not have a shelter in BC, we are blessed with an excellent community of foster families who support our local dogs with the care and love they require while we find the best possible families to adopt them.

This is Sofia, the biggest Homeless Pets Inspiration. Rescued in 2016 from Santiago, Chile, by the Founder & Director, Talia Holz.

Adopt and Save a Life!

It is our dream to rescue and find homes for as many dogs as possible. With your support we can take in new dogs, provide veterinary treatment and great foster homes to love and care for our dogs until they can be brought to Canada.

 

Our History

It all began with a sweet little pup, later named Sofia, who was left to die in shoebox on the side of the road. She was discovered by our founder and director, Talia Holz and was brought back to Canada to be given the best life possible. Since then we have dedicated ourselves to bringing as many dogs as possible to the Vancouver area to be given the care and love that they deeply deserve.

Whenever possible we adopt dogs and sometimes cats locally in Santiago so that they can be loved and cared for immediately by families and help change the culture of rescuing dogs in Chile!

Donate your refundables!

We collect refundable bottles and cans for donations and can always accept more bottles and more hands to sort the bottles :)

Donate your high-quality used clothing!

We host clothing sales in a variety of locations and will gladly accept gently worn items with preference given to items within the current season.

The most efficient way to help is to donate directly to us as we do raise money in other ways but it takes lots of time and effort by our volunteers. Every dollar counts in making a difference!
