Meet Apolo — a beautiful soul in the shape of a dog. He’s around 5 years old, medium-to-big in size, with a heart full of love and a past that breaks ours.

Apolo was found alone during the freezing winter, searching for scraps near an apartment complex. He had been abandoned and left to survive on the streets, eating from garbage bins and sleeping outside, right by the building entrance. Kind-hearted security staff and neighbors gave him food, but he was never truly welcomed inside — just a gentle soul waiting in the cold for someone to see him.

Apolo is nervous around other dogs, especially German Shepherds — we believe he may have been hurt by some in his past. But with people? He’s a complete lovebug. Apolo adores humans of all ages, from children to the elderly. He loves to snuggle on the sofa, go for long walks, and chase after his beloved ball. He just wants to be close, to feel safe, and to be someone’s everything.

He doesn’t get along with cats or small animals, and we believe he’d do best as the only dog in the home — your one and only. He’s medium-energy, incredibly loyal, and would give his whole heart (and life) to the person who gives him a chance.
