Meet Candy – A Little Dog Who Deserves a Lifetime of Love

There are some souls who’ve seen too much yet still choose to love. Candy is one of them.

Rescued from a remote island in Chiloé, Chile, Candy—affectionately known as Canela (Cinnamon)—endured a heartbreaking past. She was kept by a person struggling with mental illness, and sadly, was used to breed puppies that were later sold off on nearby islands. Eventually, she was abandoned, left to survive alone on scraps of apples, bread, and fish.

But the local community came together to rescue her, and now she’s safe—and ready to begin a new chapter.

Candy is around 5 years old and weighs just 8 kilos. She’s incredibly gentle, low-energy, and happiest simply being near someone who cares. She loves other dogs, enjoys playing, and is wonderful with children. She can coexist with cats, as long as her food is respected.

Despite everything, Candy is still full of love. She’s healthy, spayed, fully vaccinated, and has a perfect deworming record. All she’s waiting for is a kind, patient family who will show her what it means to be truly loved.

Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful little soul. Let her be your quiet shadow, your warm companion, your reminder that healing is possible.
