Meet the sweetheart - Layka

She is around 4 years old and weighs around 55 lbs (25 kgs). Layka nearly died in a climate-related fire that ended up decimating the shelter she was being fostered in. She is now on our high-priority list of dogs urgently needing a home since her current foster home in Chile is temporary and time is running out. Layka came under the care of HELP when she was found under a tree without food or water; she was then rushed to the vet for emergency care. She is now a healthy and active girl who loves to run and play, though she is calm when she is inside. Layka is very grateful and happy whenever she receives attention. She is overall a sweet and loving girl who deserves a family/person of her own.
