MEET THE SWEETHEART - merlot

Meet Merlot! He is a 2.5-year-old, 27 kg beauty. Merlot started his life being the victim of abandonment due to the colour of his fur (a very common thing for black dogs in Chile). He was starving and was used to being abused by strangers that saw him scrounging for food. Once he was rescued, we found that he was as beautiful on the inside as his black fur on the outside. Merlot is sweet, playful and very social with other dogs! He loves hanging out with his humans - a bonus for anyone that loves to hang out with their dogs! Unfortunately, the difficulties in life don’t stop and Merlot is another one of our URGENT dogs that have been impacted by his shelter burning down due to a climate-related fire.
