This is Will, a stunning 1.5-year-old with a sleek black coat and a heart full of love. Weighing around 28 kilos, Will is bursting with energy and ready for adventure! Sadly, because of his black fur, he’s been overlooked time and time again, even facing the heartbreaking possibility of euthanasia—simply because of his fur colour.

Will is a playful, social boy who adores people, children, and other dogs. Car rides are his favorite, especially when he can hang his head out the window, feeling the breeze on his face. He’s happiest when he’s running or going for long walks, making him the perfect companion for someone who loves the outdoors. With a yard to run and play in, Will will thrive, soaking up the sun and enjoying the grass beneath his paws.

Because of his rough start in life—he was found tied up in a park, bleeding from his ear and suffering from a lung infection—he’s protective of his food but has come such a long way. Now fully recovered and healthy, Will is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. He doesn’t get along with cats, but if he feels scared, he’ll hide behind someone he trusts, showing his gentle and loyal side.

Will is young, smart, and eager to learn. He’s already great on a leash and is the perfect age to continue blossoming into a wonderful companion. All he needs now is a family who will love him for who he is, black fur and all.
